Samsung To Launch Galaxy S II In India By May End

eading Mobile phone maker Samsung today said that it will launch GALAXY S II, the company’s much-awaited flagship Android smartphone phone in India in May 2011. However the company didn’t  specify the price and exact date of the launch.

Apart from the GALAXY S II, Samsung also unleashes the Galaxy Tab 8.9 and 10.1 for Indian market. Both Tab will be launched in coming months in Indian market.

The new GALAXY S II smartphone will succeed Galaxy S, which was launched in India last year and helped Samsung take a lead role in Android smartphone segment. A lightning-fast, dual-core Samsung GALAXY S II powered by a 1.2Ghz processor, sports a 2.27-Inch Super AMOLED+ screen and runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) customized with Samsung’s Touchwiz 4 user interface. Galaxy S II will have an 8 Mega pixel camera and 1GB RAM.
